Bane’s World

Listening to Bane’s World for the first time is like going on a psychedelic trip to an 80s beach town. His lyrics about love and longing coupled with the weird, and at times dissonant, guitar, mesh perfectly. The heavy synth gives his music a dream-like quality, and it feels as though you could float away into the void that is Bane’s World. His voice, to me, seems reminiscent of Joy Division’s Ian Curtis — not particularly flowery, but with the power to evoke feeling.
